XviD is a codec. DVL is a release group. You will only face a problem with the former one if you don’t have the XviD codec. Install it and see if it helps. If you’re unable to copy the file, then it should either be in use by some program or it is probably corrupted. reply

Could you be more precise what you’re doing?
“Even trying to copy to my computer it doesn’t aloud me to copy.

Where are you copying it from? A cd? Another hard disk? Removable media?
Can you play the file at all? Do you have the xvid codec? reply

It is likely a scratch to the CD which is causing the problem. You could try taking it to a CD repair outlet, or try buying a CD repair kit and see if that can repair/buffer the CD back to good condition. If that doesn’t work it’s pretty much a lost cause :-(

Best solution really is to take care of the CD’s from the start. reply
