AVI encoded with Divx or Xvid can play in DVD player.

Most DVD Players using USB, plays only MPEG 2 Video Codec and MP2 Audio Codec... It’s not possible to play AVI movies on it unless you know how to decode it... You have to convert all your videos to MPEG 2 if your using USB Flash... reply
