Hi,
I have this problem that since a while all my videos when I open them are automatically sort of zoomed in while I’m watching them. Even if I use another video player it doesn’t change.
What can I do about this ?
thx in advance
What do you execly mean with 'zoomed in'? (screenshot?)
You see only a part of what you would normally see, and because it’s zoomed it looks like low quality.
Did you find out how to fix it? I seem to have the same problem. please e-mail me at
whoombat@hotmail.com
no, but one of my friends thinks he can solve it but he comes by after the exams, so in a few weeks i’ll probably know :)
I was alsohaving this problem and after a little research found this site through Microsoft
It worked for me using and NVidia card. All settings may be different but for me I went to
NVidia Tab > Overlay Controls > Zoom Control (drop down) > Zoom Out (on slide lever)
I don’t have any idea how this was switched but it’s working now!
that fixed the problem! thanks a million!!!
yep, for me too :) thx man
I’m glad I could help.

How do I solve this?
Thanx for this, ur a life saver :) thanx thanx :) NVidia Tab > Overlay Controls > Zoom Control (drop down) > Zoom Out (on slide lever) thanx for this again :)

Usually in advanced display settings. NVidia may sometimes put an extra icon in your (classic view) control panel so take a look there too.
Hey guys, I kind of followed on the nvidia problem except if you have an amd card us Amd catalust control center
1. Open “AMD Catalyst Control Center”
2. Go to “Video” tab
3. Then click “AMD Steady Video” underneath the Video Tab
4. Uncheck “Enable AMD Steady Video”
And there you go!
The widescreen format unchecks the steady,
thanks so so much! :D
thanks so so much! :D
OMG thank you!
I have an AMD card and this literally just happened today randomly.
Steady Video was actually off, but when I turned it on I could zoom out and then turn it back off again.
I have AMD Catalyst control centre.
I foll1owed these steps:
1 Open “AMD Catalyst Control Center”
2. Go to “Video” tab
3. Then click “AMD Steady Video” underneath the Video Tab
4. Uncheck “Enable AMD Steady Video”
But there is no AMD Steady Video option, Argh
I’ve literally spent 2 days on this problem, HELP
