I used a third party program to fetch and rename movies on one of my drives. After I did that the movies are missing the file extensions. The program renamed the files correctly but deleted the extensions. I can rename the file and add the extension and it works fine. However, I have over four thousand movies so manually adding the file extension is not an option at this point.
Example of file path and ext before:
E:\Videos\6 Guns (2010)\6 Guns (2010).mp4
Example of file path and ext after:
E:\Videos\6 Guns (2010)\6 Guns (2010)
I already have windows set to show file extensions so that is not the issue. All other files show their appropriate extension.
Is there a way to batch add all file extensions back based on the video type? Or perhaps a program I can point to Drive E:\ and it add the file extensions for all videos in the folders?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...
