incomplete .wmv or.mpg files

posted in General

I know it is possible to play incomplete .avi files, but is it possible with .wmv or .mpg reply

you can play incomplete *.mpg without any soft but the total time of mpg will be showen shorter, so you can’t jump directly to the end of the movie
incomplete *.wmv is playable too but you can’t jump in the file - you must see 'whoole incomplete' movie.
for avi i prefer divfix, avipreview doesn’t play movies in good quallity

playing incomplete mpg and wmv is tested by me on Win9x/ME/XP (you must have only codecs for video - i hope:-))

sorry for my english reply

You may use some DVD Burner to burn the .wmv or.mpg files to DVD, so you can play your movie files on your home DVD Player reply

If you burn the wmv file to a DVD can you then play the DVD and be able to jump around on it OR is it the same problem where you cannot change which point you watch it from? reply
