I have a similar problem.
.avi files playing sideways.
Any help appreciated.
I have a similar problem. I took a movie clip with my digital camera. I didn’t realize that the video would be “on its side” when I held my camera vertically. I can’t figure out how to rotate the movie clockwise. Help!! I’m getting a crick in my neck watching this!!
I had the same problem with MPGS and avis.
.AVIs can be rotated using one of the built-in filters in VirtualDub...
After extensive research on the internet, the only software I can find that has the capability to edit ".mov” files is QuickTime Pro.
Try WinAVI Video Converter, it is awesome for converting.
My research shows that you have to purchase the full version of QuickTime and then you will be able to rotate videos to the correct orientation.
Dear Guys:
I have that similar problem a couple of months ago. I have this Kodak Easyshare cam and software. The software solves the problem by selecting the clip and clicking the rotate button in the aproppriate angle. You can download this for free at this link:
www.kodak.com/go/easysharesw
It supports the following movie formats: .mov, .avi, and .mpg.
Good luck guys!

Thanks Blass,
It works perfect for .mov files
