Does anyone have a suggested program for this? I have been trying to put my bittorrent episodes onto a CD that my DVD player can play. It wont play AVI but it will play VCD and DIVX I believe. Either way, if anyone knows of a good converter, or a DVD player capable of playing the avi torrent files, it would be greatly appreciated.
No idea what U r talking about..but get/buy urself a dvd player that is equipped with DivX/Xvid format, that should do the trick. AVI files r usually encode in either dixv or xvid...very rare occasion with dx50.
How you put the file on cd? If you download it find out with GSpot what kind of file is and convert it but before you burn it try to play the file on your pc.If picture and sound are ok convert it to VCD or SVCD or DivX and your player is going to play it.The latest models of standalone players are very good and very expensive so use what you have or buy one that play almost everything spend some money but save time on converting. If your file is Xvid you may try a freeware from VSO DivX to DVD and if you download from the same site Copy to DVD (shareware) when you open DivX to DVD click on burn with Copy to DVD and relax. But for this you need a dvd burner. Here is the link to VSO:http://www.vso-software.fr/ and here for WinAvi Converter:http://www.winavi.com/
