I have a JVC GZ-MG20U that I purchased from a friend, without any software. When I plug a cable into the camera and the other end into my MAC, my Mac can
t read the hard disk to transfer the files. Can you help me?

Look on the JVC website for drivers and downloads and it is sure to come up with something that may help you! reply

I also have the GZ-MG20U. I just looked on JVC’s website for help on removing videos from my camera and saving onto my computer. This model number is showing no results. Can anyone help? reply

I see this is an old thread, but I found it while googling about the .MOD file extension.

I used a free bulk file renaming utility to rename all my MOD files to mpg and was able to import them for use in Sony Vegas without any problems. The audio tracks work fine too. reply
