I am new to burning DVD’s
I burned 2. They sound fine in Windows Media Player, but when i play it in Nero or my home DVD player i have no sound. Does anyone know what could possibly cause this
WMP like any Pc software has a lot of codecs to read and play your file.If you want to burn it first find out the type of your file and after that decide what you want to do with.Ok I want to make a vcd or svcd or I want to make a dvd is up to your hardware and if the file is bigger than 700 MB and you have a dvd burner you can make from a Xvid file or just avi or DivX or MPeg or whatever a dvd but before that you have to convert it to your choice.Exemple: avi to DVD Xvid to DVD DivX to DVD and so on.Any video converter has all these choices just pick one.To find out what type of file you have if your download title does not help you use GSpot or AviCodec and find out the type of your file and what you may need to play it.WinAvi makes the convertion but is a shareware and if you have a dvd burner here is a freeware converter from VSO: http://www.vso-software.fr/ .
actually i had copy vob file from dvd n converted into vcd’s through ahed nero. . . .the burning process is completed sucesfully. . . .but when i play that vcd into my vcd player the whole movie is mute
i need help with the same
only video no audio when dvix file was converted to dvd using nero whats the solution
my dvd has UDF not VOB. What did I do wrong? also no sound, using nero
i got this video burner converted my moviefile into dvd(vob format) but when played into any dvd player, the picture is good except that theres no sound, may be the dvd player could not read ac3 format audio.. i dont know. can i change ac3 audio to mp3 in that vob file movie so that it can play the sound in my dvd player...
please.. i believe that someone here understand my problems.. those vob file played just fine in my pc with both video and audio unlike in my dvd player.

GREAT PLACE TO LOOK , NO ANSWERS HERE LOL
GOOD I LOVE NERO DVD
have you updated your windows software say, from win 7 win win 8 or win 10, then you will have to upgrade your nero as well :.
Burned DVD’s have no sound! Open video project
select the “options menu” in nero video window..(top Right)
Then select “recording format options”
Then select the “DVD Video” tab at the top
At the bottom of this window there is an “audio format” section..
In 2016 version it maybe set to “automatic”
Switch to this setting to AC3 2.0.
