I’m worse off than you, you’re lucky to have the sound I don’t even have the movie.

Div3 is the old low motion divx3. Downloading the latest divx codec shout fix it.
http://www.divx.com
Downloading and mp3 codec should also fix the sound.

If you have problems with any avi, use AVIcodec and it will locate the codecs you need for video and audio and give you a link to download them.

Yes div3 is indeed the old divx 3 codec, and divx 5 *should* be able to handle it, but it doesn’t always. Here’s another link where you can get the old divx codec.

Yip, Div3 is the FourCC for DivX 3.11a (or DivX 3.11 Alpha). DivX.com isn’t required to support stuff encoded with DivX 3.11a and they steer clear of any connection with DivX 3.11a as it’s an (illegal) hack of Microsoft’s WMV-MPEG4 codec.

You can get the codec from DivX 3.11a from:
http://www.divxmovies.com/codec/

Hi.
I don’t write English so well, BUT I find out the solution for can see DIV3. If you have DIVX codec 3.2 4.12 5.1 and you can’t see DIV3, well, so DOWNLOAD DIVX 3.11 alpha. Only is necessary to do rigth click on “DIVX.INF” and ( yoy DON’T NEED install DIVX 3.11 ALPHA) select “INSTALL”. Then a window ask you if you want keep an old file ( now i don’t remember the specific file’s name), but you choose “YES”....and that is all....now you can see DIV3. I treated to explain of the better way, i hope help you to all.

BYE!
