plz help me i downloaded the codec for ICM.XVID. and only got the picture but no sound

hi i hope u r all fine. Actually i am running .avi formate of the real player. the problem is that sound come but no picture and errot is ICM.xvid formate is not supported. whats the sloution i download the mentioned codace but no sucess. Any solution

Ola Ramon but try to be patient we are not service providers. The file you want to play is a Xvid and the best player for that is VLC. Before you play it be sure you have a decent codecs collection like I do : All in One, DivX, Xvid, Xp pack , a decoder like FFDSHOW or Satsuki Decoder and for sound AC3 filter. Besides VLC, Media Classic is another good player included in Satsuki pack. So go to this site and start downloading: http://www.free-codecs.com/ To check a video file is good to have video tools like GSpot and Avicodec. Both are video analyzers and check your file for missing codecs. All from above are freewares.
