h264/x264 codec download

hi i need a Intel ITU H.264 (H264) codec but i cant find it online can someone tell me where i could download the codec

When I try to play my video on divx it says

This file contains unknown video data

Video data: FOURCC code “H264”

Can anyone help me get the FOURCC code “H264”??

K-Lite Codec Pack has H.264 codec.

For Playback of XviD / DivX / MP4 / MP3 / MP2 / MPG / AVI / WMV / x264 / H264 / AVC / AAC and many more formats use the Cole2k Codec Pack. Nice installer, the package is upgradable and updatet very often.

This is the one and only solution. Forget all the user “mass” Codecpacks.

Yes, I have to admit, the H264 is really a nasty one(yet)!
I’ve managed the problem in the following way:
1) install the codec from http://x264.nl/
>>stil AvsSource will not recognize it<<,
2) recompress using newest version of AutoGK with XviD output,
3) => watch or convert to DVD with CCE (preferable).

Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio or video portion of the file) because the Dolby AC3 (2000) codec is not installed on your computer.
