Error C00D1199: Cannot play the file

Hi,
I just bought a VCD but am unable to play it. there are 3 files in it of type .dat, i can play the commercial and the trailer but for some reason can’t play the movie segment.
I’ve already tried downloading DiVX but that didn’t work either. Please help.

Another piece of info, my friend is able to play this on her computer and as far as i know the configurations of our comps are the same as well as the WMP version.

I could not open the audio file with .mp3 and message given that “encountered error message C00D1199” could you help me on this matter?

I want open having extension file .mp3 in windows media player but it shows message “Encountered error message C00D1199” and i could not open file, could someone help in this matter
