Mr. R Guest | Okay, so, I want to get this computer game, Rise of Nations, so I downloaded a huge .exe file that have on my computer. To try to work with it, I extracted it with ISOBuster, which gave me one huge .TAO file, which I am keeping in a new folder I made in program files. I want to burn this to a CD to make the game, but I don’t know what to do from here. Any help anyone? **(I have never don this before, so plz explain it step by step)

Henrik Clausen Guest | There should be an associated .CUE file (small). Nero will use this to burn the .TAO file - just 'Burn image' with the .CUE file instead.

Taotally Confused Guest | re Mr R’s post and Korki’s response
I followed the instructions
so I clicked Open Image
Right clicked on the toa file in the box that appeared then clicked Open
something called CD Segment was highlighted in the box and then I clicked Save and now its extracting CD segment (very slowly)....
will this then work on my PC, or do i need to burn it onto disk?

Taotally Confused Guest | Hey Korki
Thanks for that!
what I did i was extract everything by highlighting the right window in ISO Buster. When finished I click on Setup which just wouldnt work coz it was missing vorbisfile.dll. So I downloaded that and plonked it in the system folder. The thing still wouldnt work and it spouted on about vorbis_window not having a starting point (or something) in the dynamic windows library. Sounded all very dramatic so I deleted it before my pc exploded. I guess I extracted the .cue file along with the rest.

cruicent Guest | you dont need iso buster for the bin and cue files, just open nero, click on recorder|burn image and open the bin or the cue file (always forget which it is). or use daemon tools to mount the image, meaning you dont need a cd.

haligali Guest | I have extracted this tao. file and I have a cue. file associated with. Opening any of these with IsoBuster doesn’t make my Extract RAW Data (*.bin, *.iso) aveilable. I have tried all things posted previosly (renaming in .iso, using Nero ...) but I can’t get the movie file from inside the TAO compressed archive.
Any efficient suggestion?

gamma goblin Guest | Hi Guys,
it has been 4 hrs and I can’t figure this out. I by mistake 'quick erased' a DVD+RW with data on it. I have tried to recover the data is IsoBuster 1.8 but I keep getting an error. 'Extracting Aborted' 'Windows Exception Error, Error writing data to destination, Check destination: Full, write protected,...' I get this error when the extraction process reaches 100%. It still makes a file but a smaller file and the iso contains nothing inside it. But when I extract the data as multiple image files then this pop up doesn’t show up. But how am I supposed to access the data in the multiple files? And how do I eliminate this error and retrieve my data. If I lose this data I will be weeks behind in my work.
rgrds,

ISO MAster Guest | If you have a .TAO file, rename it to .ISO
When you have a .ISO file, right click the ISO file and choose Open with > Nero, Then Select your DVD-RW Drive stick in a Blank DVD and hit BURN!!!!!!
