Hello, everybody!

I just downloaded a couple of CD’s. There are four files to each with the following extensions: ccd, cue, img, and sub. DAEMON will load any of the first three. Which one should I load? Does it make a difference? It doesn’t seem to!

James,

TO INSTALL A GAME:
download and install daemon tools first. put your .ccd, .sub, .cue amd .img files all in one folder on the desktop. run daemon tools (it will not show up as a program box but rather a small icon in your lower right hand corner system tray) right click on the icon and scroll over Virtual CD/DVD Rom then scroll over Device O: No Media in the window that pops up then left click Mount Image in the next window that pops up. this will open a window that says select new image file on top. in this window find the folder you created on the desktop and open it. you should see the .cue files come up in the list. double click on the first file, it should have a 1 after the game name if there are multiple CDs (this will mount the image and fool your computer into thinking you have inserted the CD for the game) the game install should begin. if the game asks you to insert more CD’s during the install just follow those same steps again to mount the next .cue file (they should be numbered 1, 2, 3... etc.) if the game asks you for a CD key during the install download a keygen off of google. if the game came with (or you can find) a no CD crack then you will not need to do these next steps, but if it does not EVERY time you want to play the game you must run daemon tools and mount the first .cue file and the game will then run so DO NOT delete this! you will need to save all the .ccd, .img, .cue and .sub files for CD one in order for this to work, just keep them in a folder somewhere. if you do this there is no real reason to burn the game onto a CD, but if you do want to just burn all the .cue, .sub, .img and .ccd files on a data disk, i recommend Nero.

Thats a previous post here, that should help you.

I haven’t found the answer to my problem in this thread. I followed the advice and it almost did the job smiley

Extract the file with Magic ISO is all good. I even get a install screen.

But then the problem comes up: It asks for a CD... How am I going to solve this problem?

Many thanks in advance!

There is one simple solution that works for most problems of this kind. Read carefully, and make sure to follow this guide.

1. Make sure you know how big HDD and how much RAM you have.
2. Do you have SP1 or SP2 installed (if running a Win XP computer)?
3. Put on shoes.
4. Go down to your local gaming store.
5. Find the game that is causing you so much trouble.
6. Pay for it.
7. Go home.
8. Insert CD/DVD in correct drive.
9. Install.

If you followed this guide you’ll be able to play most games of your liking.

Happy gaming!

quick question vampira, since you know whats up, i downloaded the torrent for final fantasy 7, not sure if for pc or for playstation. when i use winrar to extract it, i only get a .img, .ccd., and .sub. i tried using daemon to mount the ccd, but all i get is a empty E: box, with the final fantasy 7 label, with no files or anything inside, and it doesnt start to install. i tried downloading the emulator, i just need to know what i might be doing wrong

My problem is the same as Herter, I d/l’d the torrent for FFT though. I tried burning the .ccd to a CD-R but there’s still just a blank folder when I open the drive and it doesn’t play in my PS2 or anything. Help!
