Hi everyone. I have come across some *.vgz files. It should be a video from a security camera. Could you help me? I can’t find any player or codec to view the video. Thanks in advance.

A vgz file is a “g-zip” compressed file. Download & install “winrar”, and open the file with it. You should be able to extract the file(s). You can play the file (which may be a VGM file) with “Winamp”, as long as you have the correct plugin for it.

I have the same issue, but with *.dvr files. Any suggestions for a player/converter for those files?

Here, use this to play the file. The converter is located under the tools tab.
