Image file can be viewed if you download a vitual CD/DVD program like Alcohol 52%. mount the movie files in the virtual drive then view with a movie player.

I found that I can load the .img file using the Daemon tools. It isn’t listed in the available file types, but select all files and it loads it normally onto your Virtual drive. Then you can play it with your favourite player

Sure, you can convert the img file, but will the ccd/cue/sub files be a problem?

USMC - You’ve probably worked it out by now, so I’ll just tell you whats up with the .sfv files and .rar archives and such.
WinRAR is the “standard” for compressing and archiving files. All groups in the scene use .rar archives for their releases. The .sfv file is short for Simple File Verification. This is to make sure you have a complete copy of the archive.
Just in case you didn’t get that game to work, you need to burn the image to a disc with CloneCD or Nero. Other burning software will work too, but i use the aforementioned software.
No burner? No problem. Just load the image (.img) into a virtual drive. You can setup a virtual drive using Daemon Tools or Isobuster or whatever there are hundreds of these kinds of apps.

I have downloaded a huge movie file from bittorrent. It came is a .img file and i cannot get it to open. I have tried opening it in daemon tolls but when i try to go to the virtual drive it says that disk is corrupt or using a nonrecognizable file format. I have also tried making a .bin/.cue with magiciso which says the file is not a valid movie image. i have also tried simply renaming it as a .iso, which also does not work. the full file name is -moderated- Any help would be greatly appreciated
