Akito-san Guest | Not sure why, but I’ve tried everything, installed insane amount of codecs and even read word by word that Lazy Man to playing OGM files guide and it still diddn’t work. Some times I was able to play the ogm files in WMP9 w/o sound and couldn’t even open it in DivX. I even dled players epcifically for .ogm files such as the ones listed in the Lazy Man guide but they always were distorted and not perfect picture quality.
Well I installed Video LAN and it works perfectly. No problems with playing .ogm files (fingers crossed.) So save yourself some hassle and just use the Video LAN player. No Fuss!

Phils Guest | I cannot install oggds0995.exe with Windows Xp
Professional. After copying the files I get error messages:
“Could not find Procedure start point voribs_bitrate_flushpacket in DLL vorbis.dll."
“Could not load OggDS.dll”
So I can’t open ogm Files (I tried it with Core Media Player, BS Player, Crystal Player, Media Player, Real ONE and Quicktime. Basically every Player tells me the same: “Could not locate video stream”
The strange thing is under XP Home it works fine.
Both Computers are identical, except for CPu Speed
and Graphicscard. Under XP Home I use a GeForce 4
and under XP an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro.
On both Computers is the ffdshow codec package installed. Why does it work under XP Home but not under XP Professional?
