Download Media Player Classic 6486.
It works perfect with .srt file.
Also try VSO Divxtodvd.
I have many movies downloaded and burn with VSO.
This software automatically burn with .srt file.
My dvd player perfect displayed with subtitle.
Also, VSO automatically insert chapters.
This is great software.
You can download your subtitles here:
http://subtitles.images.o2.cz/Ma

PS: I.m not recommend VLC player.
It didn’n load your .srt file automatically.
You have to browse your subtitle file manually.
Auto detect subtitle option is not working.
Media player classic is much better than VLC.

What do you mean codecs?
I only installed divx codec, but media player classic played almost every video files except cue/bin file. VLC player can play cue/bin file.

Check my post #4.
Download ConvertXtoDVD.(former DivxtoDVD)
I have downloaded over 50 movies now all movies copied into DVD disk with subtitles(.srt).
My DVD player play them perfect.
ConvertXtoDVD load your subtitles automatically and creats chapters too.
Remember, your movie title and subtitles must same name and same in folder.

Download here:
http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/which_video_converter_for_burning_video_files_to_DVD.php

Here is a link for low budget guys. Search VSO and download the latest version and don’t forget addon.Keep your avi file in the same folder with your subs and VSO is going to find it and to make a dvd with subs.Easy peasy japanesy. Also I strongly recommend 1 Click DVD Copy Pro for backing up your dvd’s. http://www.softarchive.net/

You mey use 2 programms to mmerge if your film (avi) is in xvid, divx5 or divx6: SRT2xSUB or TXT2 vobsub. Find on net - it is free. You got title on the film, not in other file; you can got avi with 2-3 subtitle and 2-3 audio.

Hey. What if u have two different videofiles fitted for cd’s, and subs to go withe them. How do u make the subs (a and b) to merge into one as well? videojoiner needs the subs merged into it already and the program converxtodvd, will recognize one at a time. ?? How to merge the subs into a joined video so i can stream it on my kiss player?
