GSbartender Guest | Ok i recently downloaded a avi file in order to burn the file i opened the file with video inspector to make sure that i had all of the appropriate codecs... of course i had the video but i didnt have the audio. Video Inspector says i require the ATSC/A-52 Dolby AC3 codec. However i searched for it and even read your forums on this website to find out where i could get it. I followed the website listed and downloaded the codec from moonlight i believe. When i installed it it required a serial number.. even though i downloaded it from freecodecs.com. please help i would really like to install and find this codec.

daniel Guest | people, people come on, let’s stay in focus and do serious business. That’s the shittiest codec ever, it fucking messes with Windows Explorer... well I guess in part is also the fact that Microsoft software is the worst shit ever... but however, there must be some good serious codec. If anyone knows about one please let me know ok.

IJ Guest | *shrug* I prefer its mixer to what’s in ffdshow. As for Windows Explorer, I’ve not seen any problem with it on either of my Windows 2000 installs (though my other Windows 2000 install has a lot of other junk in it and is over four years old). How it interferes with Windows Explorer is a mystery to me.
Furthermore, curious, which version of Windows 98 are you using? I forget the specific issue, but it DOES have a fix, and the issue only affects 98.
