liquidguru Guest | i have a pc running xp and vlc...i used the excellant suggestion from earlier:
using VLC go to preferences and deselect 'automatically detect subtitle files' and then choose the subtitle file to be played with the movie using the 'browse' button. It’s not automatic but it works!
it does work on windows as well as macs...very simple

Marcus Aurelius Guest | Here is a guide how to add subs to your avi file.Having a file called subtitle is not enough but one roule is keep the subtitle file in same folder with your avi.Besides this you have to create a relation with your ifo file from your video ts folder in order to make a dvd.The story is longer so for now star reading this guide and download some tools for adding or ripping or converting subtitle.Virtual Dub is very popular and easy to use follow the guide and learn: http://www.divxland.org/permanentsubtitling.php

Marcus Aurelius Guest | Here is another link to help you out just type subtitle on search.http://www.afterdawn.com/search/search_results.cfm?requesttimeout=500
Use glossary if you don’t understand some terms like muxing/demuxing etc.Good Luck.

YellowSmurph Guest | Installing anything found on this URL () did not work.
It says that it can’t find
mewig-confg.xml
Then it says that I can review the settings before a “new config file” is to be created. I don’t understand much of what I could do, but anyway it doesn’t work better from one time to the other.
hellllp :-/ | |
