BSplayer not showing internal subtitles.

Hi everyone!

I seem to have problem with the subtitles on BSplayer. On all my other players, subtitles work fine as DirectVobSub shows up (green arrow tray), and I have checked the settings and it reports that the subtitles are English etc. But when running the video on BSplayer there is no sign of subtitles anywhere, however I checked the options within BSplayer and scrolled to 'Subtitles'. Mysteriously it only gives me an option of French subtitles (I confirm that BSplayer uses DirectVobSub), yet no subtitles (even in French).

So im sitting dumbstrucked thinking why it wouldnt work. The video itself is a .mkv file. The subtitles within the video is all internal, no extra files are included to get the subtitles to run.

The only reason why I want it to work is that the video runs quite smooth on BSplayer compared to others.
