Plz help my Sony MP4 Player wont play mp4,avi, ne thing video

I have purchased one MP4 and it fntastic but only problem i am facing that I can,t run it with windows 98. The CD provided as driver is not working. What could be the solution? Thanks. My e-mail id is : - ce_elect@yahoo.com

hi i got a little problem with my mp4 player. i drop my mp4 player while driving on motor. then right now its not working. the screen in front of mp4 is broken. but inside the LCD not broke or evens single leak.But the problem is everytime i open this mp4. i only seen the download icon. or logo. then i tried to open but still nothing. please help me thanks..

It’s because it’s a Chinese IPOD NANO copy. It doesn’t play mp4 files it plays AVM - Advanced Video Media - files. You’re gonna need an AVM converter program. AVM is apparently/allegedly a system developed by MTV so that video’s can be played on these mini chinese players, at least that’s what I read somewhere here on the internet, but don’t quote me on it.

When you go into teh menu press M to select that bit of the menu. Then use >> and << to select the part you want and M again to change

I have bought the son digital mp4 player, I have uploaded many songs through m computer, but I cannnot listen to more than 5 - 6 songs, when I start scrolling for the songs, the player gets reboted by itself, am I doing something wrong, can some one help me with this.

u have a problem with your sony mp4 player.The reason is that the device support only avm video file.and the software that runs the converter is inside that small cd that came with the pack.
if you have problem playing already downloaded files i think this site will be useful to you.

i got my mp4 player as a gift from china so all the directions are in chinese. so i put the usb disk and it when i try to install anything it just doesnt read it and i charged it for a while and it doesnt even show a screen when i turn it on. can someone help. it’d be great

hey guys....i just got the same mp4 player..and see im having a problem recording in it....it says that recording is possible and there’s even a mike..but it doesn’t seem to pick up any sound at all.
and also..does anyone know how to get hold of a coherent user manual for it? the one it came with didnt make any sense at all.
