You need a converting software program to convert the movie files you have into a .AMV file.
I’ve found a site that has this convertor it’s here: http://www.mediaplayers.co.nz/downloads.htm
Look for the “AMV Convertor Tool”.
Hope this helps you getting those movies onto your player as this certainly helped me.
media-convert.com does convert .mpg to .amv or practiccally anything else.
But the frame rate fps is 30fps max mp4 player is 88fps .
AMV convert 3.68 works, but only if your .mpg is under 30fps Otherwise it says error.
Bittorrent is the only place to find .amv, but very few.
media-convert.com will convert almost any file, but .amv is only 30fps max.
MP4 player is 88fps.
AMV convrert 3.68 works but only under 30 fps.
Bittorrent is the only place to get .amv, but there are very few.

OK PEOPLE....Hear is the deal with these new ipod look alike and other MP4 players that only use the AMV format to play video...
(1) Make 2 folders then Convert all files to WMA format using a video converter or put all your WMA flies in this one folder.I used Xilisoft DVD ripper to convert my files then use MP3 Player utilities 4.03 to convert them to AMV.
(1a)make sure you set your settings in MP4 utilities to match your player screen size. eg. 1.8 = 160x120 and so on.
(2)Name the second folder AMV files and use it as your converted files destination.
(3)Any help needed drop me a line....firstname.lastname@example.org
