Problem with Windows movie maker. Can anyone help?

Hello, im hoping someone here can help me with my problem:

I´m trying to make a music video, at first i had a problem importing the file(s), already solved that, but now i have another problem, my movie maker keeps freezing all the time, sometimes it freezes for a few seconds, some other times it completly freezes and i lose all the unsaved process, i dont know if this is a problem with my computer or what is it but... is there a way to fix this?

Note: Some video and audio “decoders” are running in my task bar, i had to enable these to be able to import the video clips into the movie maker, and those decoders appear everytime i click a movie clip or a song, i don´t know if this is part of the problem but just saying.
