I recently downloaded some episodes of a show, it uses xvid avi, im not shure what audio it uses though, i installed ac3 but that doesnt help (and gspot doesnt tell me shit about what audio or video it uses).

Anyway i installed ffdshow, the video worked, just not the audio, WMP would say missing codec for a sec then play the video, but somthing odd happens if i play the video with quicktime player, it does the oposite, plays audio, not video.

so then i installed the k-lite codec pack, it worked (in WMP), but as the video played along, the audio growed increasingly off sync with the video, the audio didnt seem like it was playing to fast (even though it was playing faster than the video) and the video didnt really seem slow.

i am stumped, i have googled this problem alot and have found no sucsess, i am pretty mad that my days of effort getting that tv show are now wasted.

does anyone have a solution to this problem?

to bad this thing wont let me edit posts...

anyway the audio codecs tag is uh “736d” i googled it and the solution was agian the klite codec pack. as i said the klite pack doesnt fully fix the problem.

same problem, audio and video are not in synchrony. with the audio is everything in perfect order, whereby with the video there are some delays, then it normalizes again, then it delays once more.. and so on
