It asks for Real Media codec! (no image, yes sound)

Hello.
I think I need help :-)

I have some .AVI files.

-When I try to convert in DVD with WinAvi, it tells that “I miss teh RealMedia codec Version 9 or higher.
-When I opne the file with RealPlayer or Windows Media Player, I get sound but not images...at all!
-If I open with VLC media player, I get images and sounds, good news :-)

However, I’d like to put it on DVD, to wathc it not with VLC but on Tv...

If you can help...I really would be happy ant thankfull.

I have never heard of such a thing like asking U 4 the codec when converting a avi file 2 dvd format. But anyway, try using vso divx to dvd instead & futhermore its free. Here’s the link.

Thanks! It was fast...your reply.

So I downloaded it. Installed it.

It seems that it will take 1 hour to convert the file...it takes always so long time?
Is there a faster way?

I am asking too much now...right?

No. U r not asking 2 much. The speed of the conversion depend on the CPU speed of ur computer. It normally takes around 2hrs 2 complete. So b patience & everything will b fine.
