incorrect movie length displayed..

i have this movie, it’s a .dat and when i play it in media player classic it says the length is 12 minutes and 23 seconds, the real length is about 100 minutes, the whole movie plays fine, but it’s frustrating as hell because i can’t rewind or anything

help please!
