Daemon Tools and Iso help

Hi guys,

I downloaded daemon tools lite and also alcohol 120% o mount an iso (pc game) as my cd was damaged. Once the iso has mounted I am able to install the program but just as it’s about to play an error message pops up saying to insert the disk...

I then burnt the iso onto a dvd using alcohol 120% but the same message comes up..

What do I need to do?

Some copy-protection schemes are fairly sophisticated and will detect whether you’re running the game from an actual CD or from a virtual CD (mounted CD image). It’s a measure to prevent people from pirating.
I think the best thing to do is to call the manufacturer and ask them to send you working media (they may ask you to mail them the broken discs). It shouldn’t cost much (probably just the price of shipping).

You can also try enabling RMPS, SecuROM, SafeDisc, or LaserLock.
