CarPC, you need GDivX Player, the v1.9.9.6 should work a treat, the latest is GDivX Zenith v1.2 tho'

And VLC it’s the only player that you can carry in a USB pendrive that will play MOST videos & sound files without any codecs installed. And I say most common ones, not esoteric crap here, for weird files it’s up to you to use weird players and codecs... reply

even now, i think the best video player is still mplayer. it does everything except having a sweetie GUI. even where vlc has sometimes problems with my videos, mplayer can read them.
If I need to adjust the audio time, I didn’t found anything as easy as mplayer to correct this. for watching grabbed flv videos, vlc can’t fastforward but mplayer managed to do it somehow(not perfect). when there are troubles with mkv and subtitles (mpc and vlc can’t see them), mplayer can still find all the existing tracks.

but in the counterpart, there are some cases where mplayer crashes but not vlc. but the statistics make still mplayer the big winner. personally, what I dislike in mplayer is the lack of a good graphical launcher where you can choose all the params. default config functionality isn’t enough because some guys who think that’s a good idea to not follow the standards create videos with audio tracks with non standard names (sometimes “english”, sometimes “en” or “eng”, sometimes “anglais”, ...). nice idea to vary sometimes but we don’t need it. reply

WARNING !
xtalvid.com - you will find it is RANSOM ware .
They charge you to get the player and will charge you to supply an uninstaller.

IT IS ANOTHER version of an old scamware player that has surfaced several times in the past few years!

there have been similar files which after install drop a spybot or install a spyware “codec”, or a trojan, and can be hard to remove .

Movie file is FAKE!

i probably have da worst problem of all of yous. acouple of times i downloaded few movies. and when i tried to play them in the play screen i had this message “The content of this media file is locked. It seems like you are not using the recommended software to play this file!

You should visiht http://xtalvid.com to get the recommended software”

Thas totally understandable and nothing hard to follow, bt when i go to that link, it makes me wanna buy this software kind of known as “best video player”.

if anyone can help me solv my prblem that will be great thanks reply

This is a malware and has been decoded and decrypted by my binaries in the lab. I will soon upload the software to decode such files. But please note that most of the files contain no such movies of the title the show or the file names. So please do not hope to decode and malware. signed by Dr. BrainDrain. reply
