UniverseStar Guest | Well - I cannot watch OGM movies on my PC correctly, no matter what I do - I get error messages.
But thanks god - there exist a nice program called XBOX Media Center for the XBOX -> It plays EVERYTHING I ever had or will have - even OGM etc.
P.S.: VideoLAN works fine.

Gonzo Guest | Hmm.... I downloaded some anime off bit torrent (hack//sign), and I downloaded VLC. It runs the files, but... they skip around a bit. Firstly, a 20 minute episode claims to be an hour and 46 minutes. When I play, the first 5 seconds are alright, but then the screen blurs, and the audio cuts to another time in the movie. Then after a few seconds, it cuts to another. So the timer slider on the bottom keeps going back and forth, randomly. Sometimes it’s close to the end, then a few seconds later it says it’s the beginning.
Uhh... help? | |

enigma Guest | Well, I am having a different problem with my Win XP computer trying to get it to play .ogm’s The only way to get Win player to run them is to install the http://tobias.everwicked.com/oggds.htm codecs, BUT when installed it will get Win player to play them but then Windows Explorer crashes everytime! That scares me. Any sugesstions? Yes I also have VLC player and that plays all my .ogms except one, but I really want Win Player to do it.

Blayze Guest | Ah, VLC. How I love thee. When WMP said 'No chance!', MPC gave me the cold shoulder, BSPlayer just stared at me with a blank expression and WinAmp tried so *very* hard to work... VLC worked in seconds.
'Ogm file? Sure! Have fun watching!'
No 'Install a codec!' or 'Unrecognised file type' errors. I use VLC for all my media files. Although it does tend to use up a bit more resources than WinAmp does.
I only really use WinAmp on the rare occasions when VLC gives me the 'video stalled, audio advancing' problem.

rockdude Guest | I have no problem playing ogm files on my computer i used the lazymans guide to ogm and a certain media player called The corecodec. My only problem is converting all my ogm files to vcd so i can watch them on my dvd player. I’m using tempgenc and it converts only the video file not the audio. So i think i need some codecs to do that but i don’t know of any

B00G Guest | To anyone wanting to convert their video files, of any type, try using DVD Santa. It is a very simple program and is not too expensive. It will convert your movies to the correct format and burn them to a dvd all in one click. You can even choose between “Pan and Scan” or Wide Screen formats! ^_^\m/ Simpla and cheap....the best way out! =)
