I transfered movies from my Sony Clie handheld computer to my desktop computer. The read as *.mai files. .Mai file extension seems to be related with mail files. How can I play my movies that have an extension of .mai? I have tried to re-name the file to suit the file extension that my media players support by now luck. Any one expereienced this and solved it?

After reading some posts, I found out that the ".mai” files are index files (located inside the movie player folder) and are obviously not playable. The actual movies are named with the ".mqv” extension and are located in the “mq_root” folder wink . So, you are copying just the index files over to the PC, not the movie files. !smiley

THE MOVIE FILES ARE LOCATED ON THE MQ_ROOT FOLDER JUST RENAME THEM AS .MOV AND PLAY THEM ON QUICKTIME
