.bc is added by the program bitcomet (torrent sharing), if it has this tag it means its incomplete and being able to open it is no guarentee it will work. You will have to finish downloading the file for it to work, if the file is between 80-100% you can usualy prievew it with a normal media player but again theres no guarantee it will play normaly.

Hello. I have a problem. I was downloading a list of files from some tracker, and after reinstaling windows I’ve lost bitcomet.... So i have unfinished bc! .ISO file with about 20 mp3 files in it. Is there any way to extract the files?

Thanks

Hi. I just downloaded a torrent using bitcomet. it got to 100% but is showing up as avi.bc! files. I used windows promt and changed the file extensions to .avi, but they still wont work on any media players (including VLC Player). I can’t figure out what the problem is, as according to BitComet, the torrent is 100% downloaded, but the files still don’t work! I checked the comments on the torrent before downloading it, and they are all good, and no one else seems to have had any problems downloading/playing the files! Anyone got any ideas, as I don’t wanna have to find another torrent/start downloading again! Thanks. x

Right click the torrent in bitcomets window, then select 'remove task and all files,' trust me, that will remove the .bc

are there spaces between “copy” and “xxx.avi.bc!" and between “xxx.avi.bc!" and “xxx.avi”?

I found out that all you have to do is delete the .bc! use windows explorer and right click on the file, left click on rename , left click on the right end o file name and press the backspace button 4 times , then click outside of the square.
