HELP ssa, avi, and rmvb files...

ok, i am quite challenged with computers and i may be repeating a question, but i just don’t understand this...

i believe i converted my rmvb movie to an avi file (using EO Video?). and i also changed my srt to an ssa file.

so now i’m trying to play them together, but it just doesn’t seem to work. am i doing this all wrong?

please help me!!
