Extracted a bin/cue video using Winace and Alcohol 120% to an mpg file but it won’t play in any player. Used Gspot to find a codec but getting all N/A. File in Gspot says MPEG/.MPEG.VOB. Where do I look for clues as to why this won’t play since I can’t find the codec in Gspot that is missing or whatever is wrong. It just freezes up in players. New at this bin/cue stuff. Thks - any help appreciated.

Further to the above, the file is unzipped and is MPG. the original file that was downloaded has the extension SVCD-TCF. Do I need to download codec SVCD (MPEG-2 codec to my computer to play this or have I done something wrong with the bin/cue files. I have MPEG-4 showing up in the codec section installed on my computer. Thks....just trying to find the solution. G spot, and such programs not giving me any information if a codec is missing.

I just downloaded some music vids with mpg file extensions and the produced the same result in my players. I used gspot and found the vob extension, and then looked that up on the net. The result was that I merely had to change the file extension to vob, and it played in my dvd player.
