Hi!
I have a lot of movies and up to yesterday they were all sitting as avi files in respective folders with windows media player as the default player (meaning they had the player icon). I don’t know how, but all of a sudden all my movie files became m2v files with their icon changed to the film strip icon and they no longer have the avi extension. All my programs now will not play them (except for windows media player) and I cannot convert them to dvd format as it states that it is an unsupported media type. What happened and what can I do to change that back? reply

Hey! Thanks for the response. The file properties still say that windows media player is the default player. I will also try your other suggestion. reply
