You guys are all meatheads. Use a program called river past video cleaner. It will convert it for you to whatever the heck you want. Then i pipe it in tmpgenc 3 and re-encode it and touch it up and works great! Hope this helps.

Dump the whole folder into converter and 80% of the time something comes out thats avi,mpg4,xxvid,divx compatible. What do you have to lose. You can’t get better odds in vegas.

You can watch with out burning to cd most of the time. Use them like an arcive file. A “RAR” converter will do it. I use “extractnow"
It’s simple, use poweriso or isobuster to extract the video file then simply use DRDivx for AVI or WINAvi convertor to make to DVD
ITS EASY TO CONVERT KVCD TO AVI OR DIVX
1. u need to programs. ISOBUSTER and winMPG.download em if u wish or...
2.isolate .DAT file with isobuster and extract it to a folder of ur choosing.
3. open winMPG or other software u may have. convert to AVI or Divx etc.
DONE.
why make a kvcd when u can watch and transfer files from ur hard drive??? divx is cool quality and if u want to put on a dvd u can fit soooo much more on one cd..

the only way i know how to convert a kvcd file is buy using winiso convert the .bin file to iso when asked in the advanced section make sure that you have the boxes checked for the data and aduio the convert, once this is done i use winavi converter 7.1 i then convert the .dat file to dvd, you might have to select the all files section, this will take about 1-2 hours depending on pc mine is old and slow, once this is completed i normally open nero recode and open the file if you have not renamed it its normally called dvd_01 and then burn it to dvd which i have had 100% success rate with

Thanks. I actually know that vlc AND bsplayer AAAND mpc will actually PLAY kvcd’s but I forgot what the hell to do with my much beloved nero (forgot the whole burn image thing, it turned into a blind spot on the menu)
I have some DVD player obsessed frineds who haven’t gotten used to this whole watching things on the computer thing ('talkies will NEVER replace silent films-TV ain’t better than radio-these durn auto-mo-biles (say it like mr burns)' types) and it recently became useful for me to burn again.
I just say get a 500g usb drive, plug the f-er in and start loading it with 6 months worth of tv music and movies.
Cheaper, takes up MUCH less space than tapes or DVDs (trust me on this one) and so easy even your smartest NooB can do it.
'Sides when you’re cheating on your loved one in that chat room, or after you’re done with that Jenna download, why would ya even wanna get up to go to the 'tv room' to watch the new episode of House or Entourage?!?! It’s right there if’n you want it! Bigger monitors will be cheap real soon, remote controls for the computer work great and I don’t know about you, but I got better speakers for my computer than anything else in my house.

KVCD is lame, why people are using it is beyond me, i too have downlaoded movies in kvcd, i swear its just to piss ppl off, avi is much nicer, and i too, cannot find a converter
Use DVD Decrypter (freeware) to burn KVCD movies to a CD, ignore the file size it will make it fit on a 700MB disc
Forgot to mention CD will play in most generic brand stand alone DVD players. The cheap ones that play any format.
