I have a centon DC5 digital camera. It has a facility to record video which i used for the first time recently. When i try and copy it to my pc to play/edit i get sound but no image - the screen is grey!
I have checked the setup and it is set to PAL.
Im not sure how to uncode etc. When i play back on the camera the image is fine.
Can you suggest how to transfer to pc or which packages/downloads i can use.

Have you tried an editing programme?
I use the following combo to edit my cams-
Edius with miniDV and virtual dub. Only virtual dub is free
