It’s simple. In Windows Live Movie Maker, select the blue box in the upper left corner, select “Save Movie”, select “Recommended for this Project”, then select destination. The project will now be a WMV file. Hope this helps.

Hey guys that info is helpful, but when I do that it says file not found. fix or remove. i the click fix, but it just says that it doesnt work. Any other solutions?

goto file and do save movie save it as an avi and convert it using freemake video converter really easy i figured it out in my first video

In win7(64bit) in win movie live maker in left of home (in blue) click in that menu -->save movie --> click forhigh defination--> enter file name----> some times take proseccs

IF****** you are on windows 7 then you can just use windows live movie maker to convert, but if like what I assume everyone else is having the problem is that they are not on a machine that can use windows live movie maker, such as XP

i am experiencing a problem in saving my file as wmv. i have a project which i made in windows live movie maker.. it doesn’t continue saving... is there any option where can i open my file to other program, to be able to convert it to movie files...

my windows movie maker is not saving the moving at all....probobaly cos the size is big(31 mints).wat’s the alternative...???????????

wlmp file is a movie project file created by Microsoft Windows Live Movie Maker. It may contain movie transitions, music, and effects as well as links to digital photos or videos. WLMP file is not valid video file and cannot opened and played by any media players like VLC, QuickTime, VLC. You will need to export WLMP to video file in order to play it with media player.

My friend sent me a .wlmp file through email.
she has the latest movie maker and i do not, o have version 5.1 as i have an windows xp. is there anyway i could convert this .wlmp file so i could view what she sent me?
or even any websites that will play the .wlmp file!
