I am trying to find out how to play a burned dvd on my playstation 2. When i try to play it I get the “please insert a playstation format disc." How would I fix this problem?

I have no idea. Do you keep the menus and things on it. A ps2 wont play VCD’s or other formats such as Avi, mp4, quicktime ect.
A dvd that is encoded in a proprietary format like vob files should work. I hope this helps.

What the Hell is Worng with you !!!... ABC= little kid??
TO play Burn DVD... you need to put “Mod Chip"
- insert the dvd movie into the ps2 shut
- press the on button until it goes red
- press it again and hold it for about 5 seconds or as soon as you feel the logo screen of ps2 will start, release the button.
enjoy your movie on PS2 without any chips or farther modifications.
