What do I do if I CAN’T open exe files?

Trouble finding AC3 DirectShow decoder (code 8192) FOR A MAC i already tried downloading so many application on my Mac and it doesnt work why is that??

Trying to play a certain movie in Divx and i get this message (that, looking through the forums, a lot of people get) that says “You may need an additional audio decoder to play the soundtrack of this file. This file contains a track in the Dolby AC3 Audio (code “8192”) format. You may need to install a DirectShow decoder for this audio format in order to hear the soundtrack of this file.". I am using a mac. I cannot find the download for a mac. Just windows. Kind of frustrating me. Appreciate any help and instructions anyone has to offer.
