Thanx Marco. You saved me too.

The file for all the later posteres is msadp32.acm. Try a search on either your Windows CD or your hard drive if you regularly update.

AThanks again Marco

Hallo,

Really amazing Marco.

It works even with Windows Home edition. Good work man!!
Didnt found another solution , even the windows set back option didnt help to bring the codecs back.

And the simple installation of the mmdriver.inf by right click failed.

You can fix this by getting the AC3 filter,
this will handle decompression of the audio stream (Creative ADPCM).

heres the link to the AC3 filter:
for download:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ac3filter/ac3filter_0_70b.exe?download
support site:
http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net

And you shouldnt have to go get the actual ADPCM codec. if you want the CTADP32.ACM file you can get it here:
http://mysite.verizon.net/vzess8kd/CTADP32.ACM
you’ll need to add this line to system.ini
MSACM.ctadp32=ctadp32.acm=c:\[location]\ctadp32.acm

where [location] is the folder you put the acm file in.

hope this helps

Hi folks

I did it this way!

I have Installed The Software “Windows Media on Demand. I got the Download from here. http://www.jumbo.com/file/7804.htm
Click on the name of the software/clicked 4 x no and then click on “continue” that is under the submit button.
After I installed the software I deinstalled it, using the system control. The Codec’s that I was missing is still installed and the problem is solved!!!!!

Regards

Ken

Hallo. samaneng2002

A friend gave me the tip to reinstall the Soundcard driver again. Perhaps this will help, personaly I have no idea if this could work. If it works let the forum know!
Go to The website from Creative Labs they have a support page! or a Download page: http://www.treiber-world.de/hersteller-Creative-Labs-treiber-download-1866.html

Hi. I have tried the above mentioned method but it did not work for me. Later I got an encoder for the files and it worked. I cannot post the files here so send an email to rmvwe@hotmail.com and I will provide the encoder to you. The files are clean.

Okay, I followed those instructions and managed to install both of the ADPCM stuff I needed, but it still doesn’t work. When I go check in the system manager, they’re both there, but in their individual properties, it says there’s no driver installed for them.

Where can I find those drivers? They apparently didn’t come with the installation. Help is greatly appreciated smiley
