You would think with eveyone having problems with Windows Media Player, Microsoft would fix the problem. I guess it’s time to use another media player. WMP is a thing of the past.
go here http://www.windows7codecs.com/ to download the codecs pack , then rename the file ext to m2p, then it will work fine

I fixed the problemby simply using a video converter program and converted it to mp4
