Hey just “google” download awarent.exe... run this file (it must unzip to temporary location) after you install their player,,, then you can just use WINDOWS media player to play back your Sirius motion pixel cds in the best quality.. fullscreen sucks on their player
forget all the other answers!! google Awarent.exe for XP and higher playback
Thanks a milion Rodd I was slowly going insane trying to find a motion pixels reinstall.
Installing the ancient Motion Pixels player does not appear to be necessary. The free VLC media player appears to have built in codec support to play these AVI files.

"Installing the ancient Motion Pixels player does not appear to be necessary. The free VLC media player appears to have built in codec support to play these AVI files." [2010]
Unfortunately, here in the future [2021], I downloaded VLC v.1.1.1 (2010) but it couldn’t play video or audio of a MotionPixels .AVI file.
I also tried a couple of other players without success. Oddly enough, MPC-HC v.1.7.10 (2015) DID play the audio but NOT the video. Progress is slow. If I travel further into the future, maybe it will work better. So, I’m off! *Woooooosh!*
Yep there is still, in 2021, no way to play these files without that codec. for people with windows 10 you will have to use a virtual machine to run windows 98 to open files encoded with this codec. No one seems to want to reverse engineer MVI1 / MVI2.
