all i got to say is, im running xp home edition and that crap dont work. the run then the .dll thing. dosent work reply

I tried and it didn’t work at first. If you have 64bit version, run the cmd.exe from the SysWOW64 folder and run as administrator (if needed).

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\cmd.exe

Type in:
regsvr32 ir50_32.dll

I tried to run the regsvr32 ir50_32.dll command, but when I do I get this error message:

The module “ir50_32.dll” was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8000fff

Any ideas? reply

As future reference. Run the command line as Admin and it should work. reply

I searched the web, and found this psot and it solved the no pic but sound in WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER.may be you can repost this under it’s own heading on the web, saving hours of serch for such a easy fix. Vlaka your awesome for posting the answer and blasdagag for translation-
