I am looking for help in relation to .avi movies that have srt file extension subtitles. I download the require movie with the links provided and the subtitle link, i have also downloaded. i then open all links and the movie is fine. when i review the movie, all is good. i then extract the subtitle link and when i do, it is in need of the srt file extension.
This is where my problem begins!
Firstly i need a software program or a site or anything that can help me deal with “srt files”. Afterwards i need to interact .avi movies with srt file extension subtitles.
how is this possible to get? where can i get help from?
it would be very appreciated and if there is anyone that could help me, please send me an email.
windows media player does it for you.
just need the SRT file in the same folder.
if the subtitles doesn’t set automatically, you can do it on your video decoder.
hope it helps
thnx!
The best option is download the bsplayer, that way u can watch your movies with the srt subtitles, also help when u have the same exact name for the movie and sub, like this:
The ugly truth.avi
The ugly truth.srt
download english movie subtitles at http://subtitleszone.com
i do have a subripper and a vobsub. I download a subtitle then i put it on the same folder along with the movie. Why its not still working? :( gr. i tried it once and it worked out and then for my next movie it didn’t work! ah! i hate this.
The .avi and .srt files need to have the same name.
For example:
Face Off.avi
Face Off.srt
Most players will load the subtitles with the video, others may require you to load or enable the subtitles separately.
VLC
KmPlayer
BSPlayer
WMPlayer
WMP Classic
Will autoload subtitles.
thanks

same problem here
I downloaded a mivie and the folder came with these 3 extensions:
movie.mkv (media player)
movie.smi (real player)
movie.srt (something about subtitles)
When i click in the movie the subtitles get something like:
"$#$4%6%¨*g[p6”
Any idea how to fix it?
SRT File Extension for .avi movies with subtitles
Hi,,, a lot of players can help you to recognize the subtitle while playing the video such as Windows Media Player. You need to put the videos together in one folder. What’s more, you can choose the subtitle by yourself.
My WMP wouldn’t play the sbtitles and I tried several players until I stumbled on VLC player which works and it’s free unless you get it from the Windows App store. A simple Google search found a free download.
