Those kind of setups are usually not dependent on the hard drive, but on what you’re connecting it to (standalone DVD player or TV). I’d look in the manual for the TV to see what it’s capable of. Note that standalone hardware devices, unlike computers, have less capabilities as to what they can play (format-wise and feature-wise like subtitles). So yeah, just look in your manual to see what it can handle.
Hi, I have bought a Hard Drive cover that is used to connect Hard Drive to TV so that you can watch movies directly from Hard Drive to TV.
My question is how to enable Subtitles to be played on TV? The subtitle file .srt is already placed in the same folder and the subtitles are working when I play via MPC player on my laptop. But how to enable them on TV??
The hard drive cover I am using is Lightwave HDD Media Player
