thanku so much.....hell a lot using these subtitles in vlc
how to play subtitles in exact time when in a movie a man talks & speak?
I have tried everything too.. I have a Mac 10.6.7 OSX, and am using VLC 1.1.9. The movie plays just fine, but the subtitles (even with the same name as the movie and the extension off), does not work. It seems to load okay, but doesn’t work. >:(
I can’t get newer versions to display subs either. But for some reason, vlc 1.0.5 works for me and displays subtitles. I’m not a programmer, so I don’t know why.
why men, can you explain me plzz?
CAN YOU EXPLAIN ME how do you get vlc to display subtitles?
i have done all the above but cant get subtitles in english, whats the code or what should i do? pleaseee
Just another aspect: my experience is that it counts which font you choose for the subtitles. I tried everything to make subtitles appear, reinstalled every program and nothing helped. Then, as a last resort, I changed the font to another and voilá.
Thanks man!!! It works on mac :-)
I am new to vlc, i am wonder how i can add subtitles from where to vlc player 1.1.5?
Since Toast doesn’t support soft subtitle, then use the software to burn subtitles to video content, becoming a permanent subtitle. nowadays many devices doesn’t accept software subtitle.
Very helpful! Thanx a lot for the support (how to play subtitles vlc on mac)! This solution works ...
"Change the font” excellent. I had been struggling for so long to get vlc to display the subtitles. Then, I came across this forum, and I tried everything on it too. Just when I was about to give up I saw the change the font post. And voila! it worked. Excellent dude...
where do you get the sub track? I’m stupid.
PS: I have media player, VLC media player. Tho, it doesn’t show up on my search i have it. no # or anything. Media player...? help.
Changing the font did it for me. That was a killer tip, man.
thank god for the man who said just CHANGE THE FREAKING FONT of the subtitles!!! worked like a charm!! :D
