just save the .avi file anf srt files in one folder and play the avi in VLC
Ohh thank you so much,I was so annoyed to find that i couldn’t enjoy my movie, but i got the solution now.
Convert AVI to TS file and then import TS and srt subtitle to TSMUXER for muxing them together. This solution can work well for me. Hope it helps for you.
i am still not able to play it
If you have a Mac, install Perian. It is free and runs in the background of quicktime etc and will automatically load subtitles (.srt) if the file is in the same location as the .avi
how can i play avi and srt files together?
vlc player i think is a best choice for this guys i used to play the movie first and then locate the subtitle file by clicking video =>subtitle track=> open file and then it press ok after selecting the particular file hit enter have fun
Thanks, I used Perian and it worked well so far! on my mac was better than VLC
I will give it a try and contact you later on results.
thank you so much..for i was searching on how to play with subs though i had SRT files..
I did what leonardsky advised and it worked like a charm. I played Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, an mp4 file with a str file in the same folder and it worked without any effort. It’s embarrassingly simple, and I can’t believe it’s that straight forward.
wow that was really easy thanks
