Have a .avi with an accompanying .srt file. Able to play the video but there is no sound. In addition, the subtitles are in Spanish. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. 
U sound like “Moron Bush”. Lack of in4mation n no specific details on what types of media players that U r using. How can U xpect ppl 2 reply n give U an answer,huh?!
Would have provided more info if given the opportunity. Trying to play video file on computer. It is an avi file with an accompanying sri file which has subtitles. Can play the file using any media player but there is no sound. Used Gspot and it said I had all the necessary codecs (Xvid,DirectShow,etc.). Installed the VLC media player and have been able to play the file with audio. The subtitles are still in Spanish. Heard there is an option that will allow you to adjust the language if it is embedded in the file. Is that enough info or do you need more?
Dload AC3 filter n everything will b fine.

About the Spa subs..U can switch it off under the vlc video option. If the subs is embedded in the video,there is nothing U can do about it..unless by converting the AVI 2 VOB.(DVD)

Download Bsplayer programm, it allows you to charge subtitles and audios in different languages for the same movie.
